Our Ministries

Children's Ministry

Children are incredibly special, to us and to our God. Our Children’s ministry teaches the will and ways of God in a fun, loving and truly inspirational environment. We feature various programs and activities such as: Sunday School, games and activities, children's concerts and events.

Our Children’s Ministry program serves children from ages 4-13 and is built upon a sound curriculum that encourages spiritual growth. Students are taught the importance of prayer, worship, and a personal relationship with our loving Father. This is at the forefront of our efforts, and we welcome neighborhood families to enroll their children in our children's ministry program.

Women Of Excellence

When God created Eve from the rib of Adam, he not only gave Adam a help meet, but established women as an integral component to the foundation of the family as well as the church. In scripture, God reveals his love for women through the life of Jesus. Whether it was the woman at the well, the woman of blood issue, Mary Magdalene or Mary the mother of Jesus, we see that the impact of women in history/society is profound.

The purpose of CHORAC’s women's ministry "Women of Excellence" is to support women in their journey to becoming women after God's heart and God's ways. We aim to prepare our members to live life in abundance; fostering excellence and virtue as mandate in their daily lives. Our women’s ministry has four subgroups: the Secret Sister program, Golden Light, Care group, and the Single Parent support group.

Men's Ministry

God has given men a profound calling and purpose. In today's world, there are a myriad of distractions that aim to pull men away from the glory of the Presence of God. Here at CornerStone, our men's ministry is a venue for men to share their insights, fellowship and excel in both, accountability and in the word. We are intentional in our aim to sharpen each other with the word of God, and launch out into the world to become the men that the Lord has fashioned us to be. If you are a man who is looking to grow spiritually and practically, the CornerStone men's group is the place for you.

Youth Alliance

It is a wonderful thing to serve the Lord during the time of our youth. Our commitment at CornerStone is to foster an environment that is God-fearing and loving, where our youth can flourish in their talents and gifts.

Our goal in relaying the love and majesty of God to our youth and young adults is of the utmost importance to us because it is our understanding that when the young experience God, they will serve him in truth and with fervour.

Our aim is to help reveal God's perfect plan, and teach the importance of serving the Lord in our youth so that the Father's glory can be seen amidst this turbulent generation.

The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given too much wine, teachers of good things. That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children. To be discreet, chaste keepers at home, good obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
(Titus 2:3-5)

Our mission is to provide programs of excellence to inform, educate and inspire wives to a higher degree of spiritual, social and intellectual development. To provide them with an opportunity to gain experience through expression, and exercise, of their talents and skills, thus preparing them for greater and more effective service to God, their husbands and the CornerStone Church congregation.

Music & Worship Arts Ministry

Our God is creative and artistic in nature. The Lord is our "creator", who creatively conjoined the waters and the dirt to form this beautiful planet on which we reside. When the Heaven is described in scripture, we see the artistic and creative nature of our God with stunning architecture. At Cornerstone, we encourage the amalgamation of the creative arts and our worship. A complete and pure worship is comprised of all the things that God has placed within us and our "Worship Arts Ministry" is indicative of those who were created with artistic gifts that need to be offered back to the Father.

Evangelism

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus..."

As we embrace this ministry, our purpose is to reach lost souls for the kingdom of God and to help in the preservation of Christian life by assisting with the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs. We, at CHORAC, are committed to working diligently to bring souls into the kingdom. It is our passionate desire to reach out to all races and cultures of our community. We are confident that broken hearts and shattered lives will be transformed through the mighty movement of God. Our field of labour is the areas mostly outside the church and in the community.
